About the Author:
C. Allyn Pierson has combined her many years of interest in the works of Jane Austen and the history of Regency-era England into this sequel to Pride and Prejudice. She is a physician and lives in Fort Dodge, Iowa, with her family and three dogs.

About my first book, And This Our Life: Chronicles of the Darcy Family: Book 1

Jane Austen's classic novel, Pride and Prejudice, ends with the marriage of the Bennet sisters to their hard-won fiancés, but the story of Elizabeth and Fitzwilliam Darcy's life together is only beginning.

And This Our Life is an affectionate and historically accurate sequel that chronicles the lives of the Darcys during their first year of marriage. In addition to learning to be the mistress of Pemberley, the Darcy estate, and overcoming the preconceptions of her new relatives, Elizabeth must help her new sister-in-law, Georgiana, find her way to womanhood through the maze of ritual, tradition and marital politics that is Regency-era England.

About Book 2 of the Chronicles of the Darcy Family:

My second book in this series, tentatively titled Through the Valley of the Shadow, takes Elizabeth and Darcy, and Colonel Fitzwilliam and Georgiana to the Continent during the turbulent months before Napoleon's escape from Elba. As events overtake them, they try to cope with a near tragedy which ultimately causes in each a crisis of faith and courage.  Look for the release of this sequel in late 2009.
